I *heart* Brunch


My favourite meet activity is eating so would I turn down a brunch meet? Absolutely not so welcome to a VERY late recap of last month's meet!

After successfully confusing the poor waiter with customised brunches (except me and Persie, we’re not like that!  ^__~ ) we got our food and it’s EXACTLY what I needed! It’d been a fairly tame week but I treated myself to a cocktail anyway because it’s the weekend!

Shortly after, we had a wee browse in Primark (I wanted to see if I could find the aesthetic domed brollies with the ruffles which they sadly didn’t) we went to take a few photos at the Corn Exchange. And of course, no meet with me and Eden are complete without a photo of us squatting together!

I’ve been thinking about selling this JSK for some time now. I feel like I’m maybe starting to get a little too old for it and I’ve already maxed out its potential. Let’s have a super quick look at the history of this dress!

I said it was short! I will have worn this dress a whole 3 times including this meet!
Anyway, if I’m going to say goodbye to it, I may as well max out on photos because if I ever change my mind (unlikely) I will probably never find this dress again.

FYI I have since sold the dress. Wearing it again almost convinced me otherwise because o how cute I felt in it but I knew I wouldn’t wear it much so I did the right thing.

    I'm almost ashamed to admit that I don't brunch very often, so I'm not very familiar with the etiquette. I know what the deal is with afternoon tea and 'regular' meals, but brunch is a mystery to me. And I want to be that fancy lady who brunches! Hopefully there will be plenty of opportunities to brunch once we're allowed to play outside again.

Welcome to another edition of remote twinning where Christina and myself twin in a dress featuring dresses that we have talking about for years! This dress by Meta is my favourite WfH dress because it's so comfy! I have also been informed that the other cut is ALSO mega comfy! I called this dress 'Princess Wardrobe' but apparently it's called 'Lace Up Doll'... does it have multiple names??? Comfy Coords - Lockdown Edition

Going to meets is my main source of human interaction outside of work and besides the occasions where Eden and Persie come round and have dinner with me, it’s the only socailising I do so the current situation has left me feeling a little… lost? I feel like my frilly weekends are quite a big part of my life so having them removed feels strange. However, I am going to do my best to not abandon my frills for the duration of this lockdown just because I’m not going to a meet! We’ve tried to make virtual meets a thing and since I’m working from home, I’m trying to keep up with what I like to call ‘WfH: Frilly Edition’ but you can call it whatever you want! Attack of the Clones - Twinning Meet

First things first, I've never seen Star Wars so this reference is wasted on me but I was V excited about this theme and had a great time at twinning meet! So who am I twinning with and WHAT are we twinning??? I twinned with Hana (Eden was an organiser but we were technically triplets!) and we decided on Whipped Magic! My flat lay with all the bits I planned to wear with Whipped Magic featuring a blouse and socks from Anna House that we both have! Unfortunately the day of the meet was a rubbish rainy one but because we had an indoor venue, that was okay and the time spent in the rain was minimal. Upon getting in I could see that the organisers were pulling together the last bits and pieces and people were already laying out their goods for the bring and buy. These brand skirts were ONLY £20!
