Attack of the Clones - Twinning Meet

Image
First things first, I've never seen Star Wars so this reference is wasted on me but I was V excited about this theme and had a great time at twinning meet! So who am I twinning with and WHAT are we twinning??? I twinned with Hana (Eden was an organiser but we were technically triplets!) and we decided on Whipped Magic! My flat lay with all the bits I planned to wear with Whipped Magic featuring a blouse and socks from Anna House that we both have! Unfortunately the day of the meet was a rubbish rainy one but because we had an indoor venue, that was okay and the time spent in the rain was minimal. Upon getting in I could see that the organisers were pulling together the last bits and pieces and people were already laying out their goods for the bring and buy. These brand skirts were ONLY £20! There is sailor, Mana help me! And that really beautiful set from Love From the North! And strawberries!!! Oh NOOO! Many yikes and walk arounds la

Want to know what else I love apart from lolita? Food. Especially cute or gimmicky food! While I was in Hong Kong in late March I picked up some Sakura Pocky from Japanese supermarket YATA and somehow, I have only JUST got round to eating it. I was 10/10 into sakura things in Hong Kong (I forked out 28HKD which is about £2.50 on a piece of artisan sakura mochi - oops) but if I said I wasn't totally won over by the packaging, I would be lying. It could have been ANY flavour and I'd have probably bought it for the packaging and for 'science' - obviously.  Needless to say I was very pleased that even the internal packaging was mega pretty! Compared to the picture on the packaging, the actual Pocky definitely didn't have as many Sakura bits (?) and it definitely wasn't as vibrant as pictured but in all honesty, that was kind of expected.  On to the taste!  They were sweet (not hugely different to the flavour of the strawberry ones to b
